📊 Sensor Data Usage
Body Temperature Pro uses your Galaxy Watch's built-in temperature sensor to display:
- Wrist Temperature
- Surrounding (Ambient) Temperature
- Estimated Body Temperature (Experimental)
All measurements are processed locally on your devices and are not automatically transmitted to SP Watches.
⚠️ Disclaimer on Estimated Body Temperature
The Estimated Body Temperature feature is experimental. Galaxy Watches do not measure true core body temperature.
This feature is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only.
Do not use it for medical diagnosis, fever detection, treatment, or health decisions.
📶 Bluetooth Usage
Body Temperature Pro uses Bluetooth to transfer temperature readings between your Galaxy Watch and your paired Android phone.
- Bluetooth is used solely for communication between your own devices.
- SP Watches does not receive, store, or process these Bluetooth transmissions.
- Bluetooth communication occurs entirely locally.
📋 Optional Accuracy Improvement Survey
Body Temperature Pro may provide an optional link to a Google Form where users can voluntarily submit anonymous temperature measurements to help improve future body temperature estimation.
- Participation is completely optional.
- The survey does not request your name or email address.
- Responses are used solely to improve future versions of the estimation algorithm.
⚙️ Permissions Required
The app may request the following permissions:
- Bluetooth / Bluetooth Connect: Used to communicate between your watch and your paired phone.
- Body Sensors / Temperature Sensor (Watch only): Used to read temperature from your compatible watch.
- Internet (optional): Used for Google Play services, app updates, Google Play Billing, and to open the optional anonymous survey if you choose to participate.
These permissions are used solely for the functionality described above and not for tracking or profiling users.
